This is the symbol of reconciliation, peace and victory: Archbishop Bagrat on his white clothes

We have an answer to get, we have to get an answer; these people spontaneously came out to get that answer, Archbishop Bagrat Galstanyan, leading the march from Kirants to Yerevan, said.

When asked what the white clothes he is wearing symbolize, Archbishop Bagrat said: “This is the symbol of reconciliation, peace and victory. This is how we started our march, without any color and with all colors.”

Referring to the statements of the authorities that the participants of the march do not want the Republic of Armenia to have borders, Archbishop Bagrat said: “Unfortunately, these people lack ideology; they are such liars. We have come today very calmly and peacefully, without any aggression. We said and claimed that we were coming to get an answer, and that’s it. Will they give that answer? They will. That’s it. Everything else is nonsense; it’s a shame,” he said.

When asked what will happen to the Church if this struggle does not succeed, Archbishop Bagrat answered: “When the country is in such a state, the people are humiliated, when other countries, especially enemy countries, force us and dictate what to do, what are we supposed to do? Are we supposed to say, ‘Here is your sword, and here is our neck?’ We are here with peace, with a call for reconciliation, ready to forgive, seeking peace, with a vision of victory. I don’t see any threat of clashes. Why should there be clashes?
