Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban met with former U.S. President Donald Trump in Florida. The parties discussed ways to achieve peace in Ukraine. The meeting took place the day after the NATO summit in Washington.
“It was an honor to visit President Donald Trump at Mar-a-Lago today. We discussed ways to make peace. The good news of the day: he’s going to solve it!” Orban wrote on X.
The meeting took place within the “peacekeeping mission” of the Hungarian prime minister, Reuters writes, citing Orban’s press secretary.
Commenting on his meeting with Orban, Trump wrote on Truth Social platform: “Thank you, Viktor. Peace must come, and that will be soon.”
