The collective West wants to keep Armenia away from its allies, thus severing all the ties. However, there are many examples of what happens to such countries in such cases, Russian Ambassador to the CSTO Viktor Vasilev said in an interview with RIA Novosti.
“They [Western countries] are not just trying to ‘drive a wedge’, but to take Armenia away from its allies. Of course, all our partners can see the same with regard to other countries of the South Caucasus, such as Georgia.
Of course, we cannot help but worry and fear the actions of the ‘external players’ and the leadership in Yerevan, which may destabilize the situation not only in Armenia, but also beyond its borders,” Vasilev said.
