Russia’s air defense shoots down 16 drones in Belgorod overnight

The Russian air defense systems shot down 16 Ukrainian drones in the Belgorod region overnight, Russia’s Ministry of Defense reports.

“The attempts of the Kyiv regime to carry out a terror attack against objects located in the territory of Russia using fixed-wing drones were repelled. Sixteen Ukrainian drones were destroyed by air defense means, 14 in the territory of the Belgorod region, and two more in the Black Sea,” reads the message.
