Considering the commitments that Archbishop Bagrat Galstanyan has taken on regarding the leadership of the Tavush for the Homeland movement and his participation in the popular uprising in the country, he has appealed to the Catholicos of All Armenians to suspend his spiritual service, the press service of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin reports.
“Archbishop Bagrat Galstanyan’s request has been discussed at the Mother See, and it was decided to grant it. Archbishop Bagrat’s episcopal rank will be preserved; his church and administrative service will be suspended.
As regards the rest, the archbishop has already given explanations,” the press service of the Mother See said.
