The technical report issued by the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) and an inspection showed that the operation of the Metsamor Nuclear Power Plant in Armenia has not polluted the Araks River. Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian said this.
To remind, Azerbaijani Trend News reported in 2022 that the Metsamor Nuclear Power Plant was pouring 12,000-16,000 cubic meters of radioactive waste into the Araks every day.
