Russia’s State Duma member says all of Pashinyan’s decisions depend on how elections go
Armenia will choose a Western path of development if Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan wins the parliamentary elections, Viktor Vodolatsky, First Deputy Chairman of Russia’s State Duma Committee on CIS Affairs, Eurasian Integration, and Relations with Compatriots, told Lenta.ru.
According to him, Armenia is following a path chosen by Ukraine and other countries that serve European interests.
Vodolatsky said Pashinyan is waiting for the elections.
“All his decisions depend on how the elections go—his withdrawal from the CSTO, the suspension of work in the CIS, and many other issues he will pursue if his party wins,” Vodolatsky stated.
