Russia’s embassy in UK dismisses claims of alleged Russian interference in Armenia’s elections as ‘absurd’

The Embassy of Russia in the United Kingdom has described the British government’s claims about Russia’s alleged interference in elections in Armenia as “absurd,” according to a statement released by the diplomatic mission.

“The British accusations regarding interference in Armenia’s elections appear even more absurd against the backdrop of the Western European frenzy in Yerevan. London’s neo-colonial policy, which previously contributed to the coup d’état in Kyiv, is now also directed at Armenia,” the embassy said.

The diplomatic mission added that “it is time for the West to stop interfering in the affairs of sovereign states, as it recently did in Moldova and Romania.”
