Nearly 3,000 killed in Lebanon due to Israeli strikes

Lebanon’s Ministry of Public Health has reported that the death toll from Israeli attacks has reached 2,988.

According to the ministry, at least 37 people were killed and another 222 injured over the past 24 hours as a result of Israeli airstrikes in southern and southeastern regions of the country.

Since the escalation began on March 2, the total number of civilian deaths has reached 2,988, while the number of injured has risen to 9,210, the ministry said in a report published on X.
