Aliyev says ‘Zangezur Corridor’ will definitely be built

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has said that the “Zangezur Corridor” will definitely be built.

“We are opening new transport corridors by investing in railway and road infrastructure,” Aliyev stated during the opening ceremony of the 31st Baku Energy Forum.

Recalling that the East–West corridor is already operating successfully, Aliyev noted: “The ‘Zangezur corridor,’ which will become another branch of the East–West corridor, will definitely be built in accordance with the document signed on Aug. 8, 2025, at the White House between the president of the United States, the prime minister of Armenia, and myself.”
