Zakhharova says Armenia’s current course leads to actions against Russian interests

Armenia’s current course is leading to concrete actions directed against Russian interests, Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova told RIA Novosti during the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF).

“This is another example of concrete steps by Yerevan to expand cooperation with Western countries… However, in practice, these steps lead to concrete actions against Russian interests,” Zakharova said, commenting on US Secretary of State Marco Rubio’s visit to Armenia.

The St. Petersburg International Economic Forum is being held from June 3 to 6.
