Iveta Tonoyan says there are total attacks against Prosperous Armenia’s representatives

The day began with operations by law enforcement representatives, including the detention and arrest of representatives of the Prosperous Armenia Party’s regional structures, party spokesperson and parliamentary candidate Iveta Tonoyan said.

“There is a total attack against Prosperous Armenia Party regional structures, proxies, headquarters, and local campaign offices. Our supporters, party members, and those responsible for running campaign offices in the regions are being detained en masse under various fabricated and absurd accusations,” Tonoyan said.

She said the party has received alerts from various polling stations regarding alleged directed voting and attempts to remove ballots from polling stations.

“We have numerous reports that various campaign posters have been placed even in areas very close to polling stations, which, as is known, is a violation of the law. We are also receiving reports that anti-campaign leaflets, flyers, and posters featuring the images of the leaders of three opposition parties have been placed and scattered near various polling stations,” Tonoyan said.
