Explosion near residential building in Monaco injures 3

An explosion has occurred at the entrance of a residential building on Reverend-Père-Louis-Folla Street in Monaco.

Preliminary reports indicate that three people have been injured.

Surveillance footage reportedly shows a man leaving a backpack near the building before walking away. Shortly afterwards, the explosion occurred, and the suspect is believed to have fled towards the nearby French town of Beausoleil, near the border.

Ukrainian media outlets report that the injured individuals are Ukrainian nationals.

Some sources suggest that the incident may have been an assassination attempt against oligarch Vadim Yermolaev, a Cypriot citizen since 2017. He was once listed among Ukraine’s 100 richest people. However, this information has not been officially confirmed.
