Bear mauls man to death in Russia’s Magadan region

A bear attacked and mauled a local resident to death in Russia’s Magadan region, RIA Novosti reports.

The incident occurred near the Ola River. Investigators discovered the man’s body, which had injuries and claw marks consistent with an attack by a wild animal.

Authorities are currently searching for the bear in order to capture and neutralize it.
