Businessmen go into panic as Lars closed

It has been three days since the Lars checkpoint was closed:
Trucks are standing in line. The Government officials note that the issue
should not be politicized, and at the same time, call on Armenian exporters not
to remain dependent on the Russian market and to find new markets. Former
Minister of Finance Vardan Aramyan noted that it would be foolish not to
politicize the issue at all, as it is plain truth that political cycles
determine economic cycles. The lion’s share of export volumes belongs to the Russian
market today. According to Vardan Aramyan, about 80% of our exports pass
through the Lars checkpoint, and any problem that arises there, may have dire
consequences for our economy.
