Drone shot down after entering Romania airspace

A Romanian F-16 fighter jet shot down a drone that had entered the country’s airspace, Romanian President Nicușor Dan said.

The incident occurred at around 11:00 a.m. on July 24, according to the president.

“Specialized teams from the relevant authorities are currently investigating the site to determine all the circumstances of the incident,” Dan added.
