
4.7-magnitude earthquake strikes Naples
A 4.7-magnitude earthquake struck Naples and surrounding areas, injuring at least 21 people, according to Corriere del Mezzogiorno.
“At present, 21 people have been injured, two of whom are in serious condition,” the publication says.
According to Italy’s National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology, the earthquake was felt across Naples and nearby communities, particularly in the Campi Flegrei volcanic area, where the epicenter was located about 6 kilometers from Naples.
The earthquake struck at 7:46 p.m. local time.
