Hamas appeals to international organizations to stop Israeli crimes in Gaza

Hamas has appealed to international organizations, in particular the International Criminal Court (ICC) and the United Nations, to take urgent steps to stop the killings of Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.

“The footage published by Al Jazeera, showing the Israeli military cruelly killing two unarmed young people, who are wearing white T-shirts, then dragging their bodies on a tractor to cover up this heinous crime, is yet another proof of the scale of the crimes,” Hamas said in a statement.

It is noted that Israel is “waging a brutal, genocidal war against the Palestinian people” in the Gaza Strip.

“We call for urgent steps to stop the systematic killings of our people and to take the necessary measures to punish war criminals guilty of crimes against children and defenseless civilians,” Hamas noted.

Since Oct. 7, 2023, 32,490 Palestinians, including at least 14,280 children and 9,340 women, have been killed, and 74,889 people have been injured in the Israeli attacks against Gaza.

Thousands of bodies still lie under the rubble; civilian infrastructure is also being destroyed as hospitals and educational institutions, where people have taken refuge, are being destroyed.
