Georgian prime minister calls country’s president “an agent of foreign influence”

Salome Zourabichvili herself is an agent of foreign influence and the voice of another country, of a global war. Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze said this in response to the statement of the country’s president that she is going to veto the law “on foreign agents”, interpressnews.ge writes.

According to Kobakhidze, everyone, including the president of Georgia, should wait for the parliamentary elections, which in essence will also be a referendum on this law.

“As regards the popular legitimacy of the law, you know that parliamentary elections will be held in just six months, and they are going to be a referendum on this law as well. Everyone can see quite well that, in the end, this law will get around 60% support. Accordingly, everyone should wait for the elections, and no one, including Salome Zourabichvili, should speak on behalf of the Georgian people when she directly betrays the Georgian people and the country’s Constitution,” Kobakhidze said.
