The torchlight procession is an annual march organized by ARF Youth of Armenia together with ARF Nikol Aghbalyan Student Union. Every year on April 23, on the eve of the Armenian Genocide Remembrance Day, tens of hundreds of people march with torches from Yerevan’s Freedom Square or Republic Square to Tsitsernakaberd to commemorate the victims of the Armenian Genocide and demand just retribution for the crime committed by Turkey. Before the start of the march, as a rule, the flags of Azerbaijan and Turkey are burned. The young people started to prepare for the march a month ago. Details in the video:
