Astgh Galeyan, the mother of hero Mkhitar Galeyan, who fell in the 44-day Artsakh war, issued a call for struggle.
“Let us fight, my people, let us fight for the rest of our children.
Fight so that you will not feel what we feel! Fight so that you will not look for your children’s bodies in morgues! Fight so that your children won’t go missing, so that they won’t be taken captive! Fight so that a wood coffin, with nails knocked in and with the Tricolor wrapping it, will not be brought to your homes! Fight so that you will hug your children, so that you will not kiss tombstones, like us, maddened and filled with longing!
Fight, people, so that they will not deceive you; so that they will not distort our thousand-year-old Armenian history! Fight so that you can be called Armenians,” Astgh Galeyan wrote.
