Peskov: Putin and Pashinyan have agreed on the withdrawal of the Russian military from some regions of Armenia

Russian President Vladimir Putin and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan have agreed on the withdrawal of the Russian military and border guards from some regions of Armenia, Spokesperson for the Russian President Dmitry Peskov told RIA Novosti.

“Indeed, amid the change of conditions, Putin and Pashinyn agreed on that,” he said.

Peskov added that, at the request of the Armenian side, Russian border guards will remain on the country’s borders with Iran and Turkey.
