Tehran-Washington talks seen as positive by both sides

Tehran and Washington are beginning work on a new nuclear agreement, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said following talks held in Rome yesterday.

The four-hour-long negotiations, mediated by Oman, were deemed helpful. The discussions were conducted in a constructive atmosphere.

Washington’s representative, President Trump’s Middle East envoy, Steve Witkoff, also described the meeting as positive.
