Khachik Manukyan: Archbishop Bagrat is coming to get Armenians to rise up, to show that these symbols of defeat are not for them

According to Khachik Manukyan, a poet who has joined the Tavush for the Homeland movement, the “empire of lies” will soon collapse because unyielding people have joined the movement.

“Holders of  values are here. They are not here for a seat or a position. There is no position higher than that of Archbishop Bagrat; that is a divine position. He really enjoys the love and respect of all Armenians. Along the way, people approach him with their children to receive his blessing. There is nothing more precious than that,” the poet said.

According to him, Archbishop Bagrat is coming to bless all Armenians.

“He is coming to get Armenians to rise up, to show that these symbols of defeat are not for the Armenian nation. Armenians are not the kind of people who should leave their homes, being told that their homes belong to the enemy—then, the same people boast that they were given the opportunity to negotiate. Presenting this mockery as something to be proud of is nothing but mockery. People have sunk into apathy, and now Archbishop Bagrat is coming to wake them up. Everyone is coming. I am sure that our unity will become even stronger, and we will see the empire of evil collapse,” he said.
