“The Nagorno-Karabakh Issue” section removed from Foreign Ministry website

“The Nagorno-Karabakh Issue” section has been removed from the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia.

The section “Nagorno-Karabakh” is there unchanged, but the section “The Nagorno-Karabakh Issue” won’t open. The subsection of the “44-day War” section, comprising the reports on the war issued by the Artsakh human rights defender, does not open either.

To remind, the information about changing the RA Constitution on the orders of Azerbaijan was actively discussed earlier. The Azerbaijani president had openly announced this demand of his, while Pashinyan announced his intention to change the Constitution. Azerbaijan considers the reference in the RA Constitution to the RA Declaration of Independence to be problematic. Representative of the President of Azerbaijan on Special Assignments Elchin Amirbekov stated that, apart from the Declaration of Independence of Armenia, Baku finds issues with other documents adopted by Armenia as well. He mentioned the very section on the RA MFA website dedicated to the Karabakh issue, where it was mentioned that Artsakh is an inseparable part of historical Armenia.
