The village of Kirants is facing the threat of depopulation for the first time since the fourth century. For thousands of years, the village has not been depopulated, even during the Mongol-Tatar invasions, but Nikol Pashinyan’s policy has made the residents face the facts. For months now, they have lost sleep; even the medicines they have been prescribed do not help them. With the property papers issued by the cadastre in hand, they don’t know whom to show that they want to give their private property to Azerbaijan.
