Masoud Pezeshkian elected Iran’s president

Masoud Pezeshkian has been elected president of Iran, Mosed Eslami, the spokesperson for the Election Office of Iran, said.

Pezeshkian secured 53.6% (16 million 384 thousand votes) of the 30 million 550 thousand votes counted. 

Thus, he became the ninth elected president in the history of Iran.
