
Zakharova says ‘Moscow has always acted in the interests of the Armenian people’
Russia aims to further develop economic and humanitarian cooperation with Armenia, Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova has said.
“We are committed to economic and humanitarian development, and we are committed to addressing security challenges in the region on the basis of mutual respect,” the foreign ministry spokesperson said.
She stated that Russia has not only expressed concern about Armenia’s future in words, but has also pursued a systematic policy aimed at supporting state development. She noted that “Moscow has always acted in the interests of the Armenian people.”
