Trump casts doubt on US involvement in deadly Minab school strike

US President Donald Trump has commented on the missile strike on a girls’ elementary school in Iran’s city of Minab, NBC News reports.

Addressing potential US involvement, the White House leader said he does not believe the attack was carried out by American forces.

“I don’t think it was us,” he said.

Earlier, The New York Times reported that fragments of the missile that struck the girls’ school in Minab bore markings indicating US manufacture.

In joint US-Israeli strikes, 165 students and teachers were killed and 96 others wounded at the girls’ elementary school in Iran’s Minab.
