Russia is not aware of any decision regarding the withdrawal of Russian border guards from Yerevan Zvartnots airport; work is being done in all directions. Spokesperson for the Russian president Dmitry Peskov said this.
“As for the withdrawal of the border guards from Zvartnots, as far as I know, there have been no decisions on this, and we have not been informed of such decisions through official channels. We work in all directions, within the framework of the CIS and the EAEU, as well as bilateral relations,” he said.
