Kyiv has not asked us to send troops to Ukraine. French Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Stéphane Séjourné said this at a press conference in Vilnius.
He noted that “demining operations” may be carried out.
According to Séjourné, demining operations suggest deployment of personnel in Ukraine, but not for combat purposes.
“We are not talking about a military operation in Ukraine, as Kyiv does not demand it now, but we certainly do not rule out anything in the coming months,” Séjourné said.
