U.S. Ambassador to Azerbaijan Mark Libby visited Shushi, the Azerbaijani media reports.
The ambassador, who announced a few days ago that he would not go to Shushi because he did not want to be part of a show organized by a certain person, today said that he had been preparing for this trip for almost two months.
The diplomat noted that he and his wife were warmly welcomed in Shushi, and that today he would also travel to Fizuli to meet with the teachers participating in the English teaching programs run by the embassy.
