U.N. Secretary General António Guterres and Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov will discuss the ongoing crisis in the Middle East, the situation in Ukraine and other global issues at a planned meeting, Spokesperson for the U.N. Secretary-General Stéphane Dujarric said.
“The secretary general will meet with Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov. As far as I understand, the meeting will take place in the afternoon”, Dujarric said, commenting on the upcoming talks.
He also noted that Guterres is ready to discuss any issue that will interest the Russian foreign minister.
