The border between Armenia and Azerbaijani may pass right through the middle of Kirants village: MP gives details on meeting between Pashinyan and Kirants residents

The proposals, demands and requests of the residents of Kirants village of Tavush Province were not welcomed by Pashinyan. MP Gegham Nazaryan said this to the press.

“Residents have been plunged into uncertainty again. They proposed making changes regarding border delimitation, at least to preserve the border that existed during the Soviet period. It is not going to be like that now. They were told that in the case of border delimitation, the border may pass right through the village,” Nazaryan noted.

At the end, the MP quoted Pashinyan: “He said, ‘border guards will monitor the security of the village, but it may be safe there for seven days, but unsafe on the eighth day.’”
